How did you meet your now husband?

We met in 2016 on Tinder - that’s right, a tinderella love story!

How did he propose?

He proposed at Mussenden Temple, we went for a morning walk and I walked on assuming he was tying his shoe, and when I turned round, he was down on one knee. Then he had arranged for our families to meet us afterwards to celebrate.

What brought you to Jade Alexandra Bridal?

I had looked at J/A’s Instagram account and loved the whole vibe and the type of dresses that were featured, so I booked an appointment and found my dream dress!

How did you know your dress was the one?

It was weird really, because I loved the dress that I tried on in store, but I knew that there was a few things that I wanted to change. The cleavage was a bit low for me and the dress I had tried on had a full split up the front, so at the time it felt like a bit of a gamble but Jade was so accommodating and spoke to the designers at Luna Willow and when it came back, it couldn’t have been more perfect!

Do you have any dress shopping top tips for future brides?

Try on EVERYTHING, this is your chance! You might have an idea of what you want in your head, but you may as well try on the ones you think wouldn’t suit you, because you might be surprised!

Where was your ‘go-to’ for wedding planning inspo?

I used Pinterest a lot! I was in two minds for the wedding theme, as we would have loved a rustic barn type wedding, but we had around 150 guest and majority of them travelled from England. So we wanted everyone to be able to stay in the one place so we could see everyone in the morning at breakfast. So we choose the Roe Park as it had enough rooms for all our guests, and then incorporated a rustic theme into our tables and room.

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

Definitely the dancefloor! Our band - Pure Blarney were INCREDIBLE, the dancefloor was packed all night long!
